Promise

Promise is a guy I met at a mission trip and he told me the story about his name. He is from Africa and when his mom was pregnant with him there was a war going on. She went to the grocery store one day and the army came in and lined up all the pregnant woman and started shooting them one by one. When they got to her she was praying and something distracted the soldier and she got away. There is so many obstacles she had to go through and she prayed to God that if he gets her through this she would name her child promise.
